| Information illustrated
above was derived from a survey published in the US Department of Labor
Study of 401(k) Plan Fees and Expenses, April 1998 (Section 4.3) Survey
was based upon a sampling of major national 401(k) third party
administrators (TPAs). All fee quotations were for 100 person bundled
plans (TPA combines plan administration with investments) using
prototype plan documents. The study effectively captures the wide range
of expenses that result from diverse fee structures within the 401(k)
marketplace.
